For Parents
-
PickUp Patrol is the secure web app your school uses to manage student dismissal. Instead of sending a note, writing an email, or calling the office when your child's plans change, you enter the change yourself from your phone, tablet, or computer. You can do it days, weeks, or even months ahead, and the office sees it as soon as you submit.
-
Yes! The parent portal is completely free for parents to use with your school’s subscription.
-
Nope! PickUp Patrol works on any smartphone, tablet, or computer with an internet connection. If you do not have internet access at all, call your school office, and they can enter changes on your behalf.
-
Your school sends you a registration email with a secure link and instructions. Registration links stay active for 48 hours and can only be used once.
If you have not received yours, check your spam folder first. If it is not there, contact your school office to confirm they have your correct email address and ask them to send a new link. If your link has expired, your school or support@pickuppatrol.net can issue a fresh one.
-
PickUp Patrol follows the standards of the Student Data Privacy Consortium and complies with all state and federal laws and regulations governing student data privacy. Your information is used only to manage your child's dismissal and is never sold or shared for marketing purposes. Read our full Privacy Policy.

Go to app.pickuppatrol.net/parents. We recommend bookmarking it on your computer or adding it to your phone's home screen.
-
Your default plan is how your child gets home on a regular day.
Open the Default tab.
Tap your child's name.
Select Monday.
Tap the Plan section and choose a dismissal option.
Select the days this plan applies to and Save.
Repeat for any days that follow a different plan.
Not every school uses default plans, and some manage them in the office rather than in the app. If you cannot edit yours, check with your child's school.
-
Enter a change any time your child will be doing something other than their default plan.
Tap the Change tab at the bottom of the screen.
Select the date of the change.
On your child, choose the plan type, then a dismissal option.
Add any extra details the office should know.
Tap Submit.
The office is notified as soon as you submit, and on the day of the change, your child's teacher lets them know their plan is different.
-
Your submitted change appears in the app right away, and it goes straight to the office dismissal roster. You’ll also receive a confirmation email with the plan information (if enabled).
-
Your school manages all account information in PickUp Patrol. Contact the office and ask them to add your email address to each of your children’s profiles. Once they do, everyone will appear in your account automatically.
-
Contact your school office. They will update their records and, if needed, send you a new registration email so you can set a password for your new login.
-
If you have not registered yet, start there. You need the secure registration link your school emailed you before you can log in for the first time.
If you have already registered, work through these:
Use Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. These are the browsers PickUp Patrol supports.
Close any other open PickUp Patrol sessions and log in again.
Reset your password using the Forgot Password link.
Restart your phone.
Check with your school that the email address you are using matches the one they have on file for you.
Still stuck? Email your school office for assistance.
